When back in the first quarter of this year, Nike announced to introduce its of Back To The Future Inspired shoes; Nike Magslimited edition, people thought it a madman’s dream. However, Nike announced to manufacture 89 limited edition self-lacing pair which buyers would get after donating $10 for every pair to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and here we are today announcing their launch.
The shoes are out now and mesmerizing the world with their unique self-lacing technology. They use the similar technology of one powering Nike’s HyperAdapt shoes, with a different fit system and auto-lacing, which won’t be a limited stock customer product. Nike had come a long way to finally give out a product that clearly defines future technology goals. The shoes are adjustable to various foot conditions and can be adjusted according to the ease of the foot with the pressing of some added buttons.
Nike’s Senior Innovator Tiffany Beers recalls the struggle that started back in 2005. She declared that “Athletes can adjust these on-the-fly. So time out in basketball; they can let blood flow go back to the feet. Running performance, you know, if the shoe gets wet or if your foot’s swelling in a marathon, you can just change it.”
The shoes are available in sizes 7, 9, 11 and 13. To get your hands-on of these amazing shoes you can either visit www.nike.com/mag or go to the Nike+ app; from here you can pick your desirable size by entering into the draw for $10 and wait to be the lucky one until the result comes out.
