In IFA, Berlin, 1st September 2016 – Sony Mobile announced two incredible new additions to its X series smartphones. In February continuing their vision set out at MWC, the flagship Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact offer an even more intelligent, personalised experience.
The Xperia XZ the real flagship of its new X series of smartphones. It has the Combined aspects of both the Z and the X smartphone series, the XZ flagship count on power and an advanced camera to the customers. On the other hand, if we talk about Xperia X Compact it is suitable for those users who prefer smaller and tinier devices.
Sony Xperia XZ.
New Xperia XZ is a water-resistant handset and is made of a specially treated metal with the aluminum base; that gives it a satin-like finish. Sony put a bigger 5.2″ IPS screen display on the Xperia XZ, still 1080p resolution. It’s got an 820 chip Snapdragon with 3 GB RAM, stereo speakers, top-notch connectivity options, and 32GB storage with the expansion of 200GB. The new USB Type-C used as its adoption rate is growing stronger. It is powered by a 2,900 mAh battery that is a small upgrade over the X Performance.
With the Xperia XZ(and the X Compact as well) Sony’s big focus is a sophisticated camera. The company spent much time on updating the primary camera, adding more sensors and updating existing features. It has a main camera with f/2.0 lens. It may look the same on specs, but Sony developed a new sensor for XZ and as well as for X Compact, which offers a new autofocus system. Xperia XZ and X Compact both have a setup called “triple image sensitivity” which contain features like camera uses color detection, phase detection, and laser-assist to measure distance correctly and track intelligently moving objects. It should also give an always correct focus for your images and videos.
The Xperia XZ will launch in early October in Mineral Black, Forest Blue, and Platinum. Xperia XZ will be handy in both Single SIM and Dual SIM variants.
Sony Xperia X compact.
The Sony Xperia X Compact may share some DNA with the XZ, but it is not a smaller version of the latest flagship. It is precisely what its name suggests; a Compact relish of Sony Xperia X. This means we will be getting a small edition of the Xperia X with the same Snapdragon 650 chipset, the same recognition to detail in design, but also the same omission in the specs. It has an HD display of 4.6-inch and a maximum flash storage of 32GB with the option to expand. It has the same RAM of 3GB as the XZ and uses a USB Type-C port to charge. Because It is made of cheaper materials, the Compact is not water-resistant.
There is no 4K video on the Xperia X Compact and instead of the new 13MP selfie camera, the X Compact features a 5MP front snapper.
The phone will launch the next week in Universe Black, Mist Blue, and White.
