Samsung Stopped Selling Galaxy Note 7

Samsung has confirmed that it has stopped producing Samsung Galaxy Note 7 because of its battery explosion in the replacement sets. Samsung has not further explained its statement but apparently it seems that the explosion of globally recalled smartphone Galaxy Note 7 has forced Samsung to take this decision.

Samsung had asked its carriers and resellers to stop the sale and exchange of the devices of Galaxy Note 7 a day before because of the issues with the replacement smartphones mounted. Samsung has offered its users a full refund and a gift of $25 in order to lighten the trouble of coping with the two rounds of recall.

Apart from the damage to Galaxy brand of Samsung because of the exploding batteries, the cost of its withdrawing would not be cheap. The analysts of Reuters cites estimated a loss of more than $17 billion at the end of Note 7. Samsung provided the following statement:

“For the benefit of consumers’ safety, we stopped sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7 and had consequently decided to stop production”.

This all is a great shock to the company as well as to Samsung lovers.

When are you gonna replace your Note 7?
