10 Things That The iPhone Can’t Do But the Samsung Galaxy S8 Can

Samsung presents the Galaxy S8, the flagship of the South Korean company and the mobile that intends to compete with Apple’s top model, the iPhone 7 now, and the iPhone 8 that will arrive next September. The phone comes with impressive set of features. You won’t find many of these features even in the iPhone. Let’s take a look at some of these features.

1)  The Iris Scanner

This feature can be used to unlock the phone and access secure folders. It provides an additional form of authentication to reinforce security. It works by digitally coding your iris patterns through the in-built iris sensor.

2) Facial Recognition – Unlock Your Phone With A Selfie.

3) More Screen

The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch screen while the Galaxy S8+ has a 6.2-inch screen. Much wider than iPhone’s screen.

4) Fast and Wireless Charging

Galaxy S8 can be charged with a wireless charging pad which has much faster charging capacity than its predecessors.

5) The Headphone Jack

Unlike the new iPhone, the Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

6) Make payments

Thanks to Samsung Pay, you can now make payments on standard magnetic credit card readers by holding the back of the device against the NFC card readers.

7) Virtual Reality

Anyone pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy S8 before April 21st 2017 is getting a free Gear VR. The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with its in-built virtual reality software. It is powered by Facebook’s Oculus.

8) Heart Rate Sensor

Now you can check your pulse anytime, anywhere. Thanks to the Samsung Galaxy  special heart rate sensor on the back.

9) Use Samsung Galaxy S8 On Desktop

You can now use a desktop version of the Galaxy S8’s operating system on a PC. Thanks to a special dock.

10) Bixby Digital Assistant

Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant have a new rival. Samsung announced Bixby, the personal assistant which comes in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. There are several options to open Bixby. On the left side of the Galaxy S8, just below the volume buttons, is the dedicated Bixby button.
