The much anticipated Nokia Android phone specs have officially been revealed by HMD Global and we all are overwhelmed by it. The first of the range, Nokia 6 is loaded with a 3,000 mAh Battery, a 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera, 64 GB of on-board memory that supports microSD and 4 GB of RAM. The handset represents the ethics of a modern designed smartphone although it’s a monoblock shape fashioned out of aluminum, and has a 5.5-inch diagonal screen with 1920×1080 HD 2.5D Gorilla Glass display.
Nokia 6 comes with Android Nougat (as expected) and this will also allow the users to interact with the Android applications of the third-party. HMD Global has played its card by collaborating with Dolby to use its most comprehensive sound technology of Atmos sound processing in this mid-ranged handset.
It is going to be launched in China, first and there is a solid reason behind it. Since China market is still going through its developing phase, it is easier to reestablish Nokia here as compared to the saturated strongholds like North America and Europe, where Nokia once reigned.
The shipment of Nokia 6 with often-used SnapDragon 430 system-on-chip might not be able to impress the buyers with respect to performance yet, it promises to deliver performance equivalent to other phones under the banner of the same price range that is 1699 Chinese YUAN equal to $245.
The question here is that with many of the smartphones using the similar or less equivalent series of the SnapDragon chip, available between the price ranges of $200 to $300, will this mid-ranged Nokia handset from the HMD Global be able to grab much attention?
Although an official availability date has not been announced by HMD yet, but the handset will be available exclusively in the Chinese market, in the first quarter of this year.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for its launch in the WMC on the 27th February, what are your expectations?
