iflix, the Pakistani Netflix, Soon To Be Launched In Pakistan

iflix, an internet base television brand has announced to launch its services in Pakistan very soon. It is a Kaula Lampur based company which is offering a free subscription for one month to its new users.

The company gave a hint about their launch in Pakistan a few months ago, and now they are almost about to start it.

According to the company, iflix has partnered with more than 150 studios and the content distributors universally which include CBS, Fox, Disney, and Warner Bros. They want to expand their services in the developing countries too.

Iflix outlines itself as a service which lets you “access a crazy huge selection of your favorite shows, THOUSANDS of TV shows, movies and more from all over the globe. Shows from Hollywood and Hong Kong, Seoul and Shanghai, Thailand and Tokyo. And imagine being able to watch it whenever you want, wherever you want, and 24/7 on your phone, laptop, tablet, and TV. And all for a price that you cannot resist”, as per its post on the official website.

The question bothers me here that either iflix would compete with this television giant “Netflix,” or not. Netflix has launched its services in the start of this year in Pakistan. Though, no official word has been said about it, but still its launch is expected any time now.

It further provides the facility to share the subscription with other members; they can enjoy two different shows on different devices at the same time with each subscription.
