China’s Huawei has climbed up to become a globally recognizable brand and a serious stalking horse for Apple and Samsung. Huawei is now the world’s number third smartphone brand.
Huawei is widely tipped to launch the next version of its Mate-series flagships by the end of this year. There are many rumors about the new device, and while nothing is official, the Mate 9 is developing to be quite an impressive phone.
The device is presumed to come in three variants. Two models will have 4 GB RAM and 128GB storage options, and one top model will come with 6GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The phone will come up with Android 7.0 Nougat if not then it must contain Android OS, v6.0 (Marshmallow)
Most recent reports, which originated from a leaked source on Weibo, suggest that the Huawei Mate 9 will be a very powerful device with a Kirin 960 processor, which will be HiSilicon’s latest processor.
Another interesting leak is a picture that was posted on Weibo which appears to be showing a prototype of the phone. The leaker claims that the leak is the shell of Huawei Mate 9, while the design could evolve over time. If this is correct then the shell gives us a few details about what to expect from the phone.
Regarding the camera of this new appliance, the quality is supposed to be good just because of the past reviews of Mate 8. This new smartphone is having the Dual 20 MP of rear facing primary camera having auto-focus, touch-focus, geo-tagging, panorama, face detection, HDR and dual tone Dual LED Flashlight features.
In the upfront in this smartphone, you will get the 8 MP of front-facing selfie snapper primary camera which is also capable of HD video recording just like the main camera. There is also the Fingerprint Scanner sensor on the back panel just below the rear camera similar to its predecessor, which is another major feature of this new smartphone.
The smartphone will be packed with the Non–Removable 4250 mAh Li – Po battery and will be available in four different colors; Space Gray, Mocha Brown, Champagne Gold and Moonlight Silver.
The price is said to start at $510 for its lowest model and could go up to $705 for its premium variant.
